I'm continuing my projects that had me in The Middle a few weeks ago. I started with some seed beads and possible projects.
Last week I shared the first one, Bronze Leaf (Now on the website if you are interested.)
One of my favorite colors is purple. So, when I found this pendant I had to make a necklace to go with it.
I decided to get four different purple colors to make a mixture and make a Kumihimo cord with the mixture.
As I've said before, funny things happen on the way to a finished piece. I follow a Kumihimo Facebook page and this past week much of the talk was about a pattern that makes a four color spiral. One of the frequent contributors, Pru McRae, posted the way to make it. Many have shared their versions and I thought maybe that would work with my purple seed beads.
I think it made a nice purple version of the four color spiral pattern.
When I added the purple pendant, I think it is a winner.
Check it out on the website and see some more views of the necklace.
Until next time,
